Dinner was in Kansas City, Kansas at Famous Dave's BBQ; we had the All American Special for 2 (bbq pork, chicken, and
ribs) - our favorite sauce was "Georgia Mustard". The Pony Express Museum in St. Joseph was located a short distance
north of Kansas City. Pony Express only ran for about a year and a half delivering mail from St. Joseph to Sacramento, CA.
The trip took 10 days in good weather, 15-16 days in bad weather. A driver would ride for 100 miles at a time, changing
horses every 10-15 miles. With the invention of the telegraph, Pony Express went bankrupt.
