Southern Utah was quite a pleasant surprise to us. The scenery was the most magnificent we have ever seen...the Grand
Canyon sure has high standards to meet. These pillars of rock, created by erosion, are called Hoodoos because they cast a
spell on all those who see them. Driving through Zion National Park with the camper gave us some special challenges. The
roads were narrow; we had to pay $15 to get a permit for a "special" escort through the tunnels. Since the camper was too
wide the rangers had to stop two way traffic and we had to use both lanes through the one-mile tunnel.
