Dicker turned 70 on June 1st, and what a party we had! The theme was the Georgia Bulldogs and we had tons of BBQ, smoked chicken, and Brunswick stew with all the sides to eat, followed by all of his favorite desserts: Red Velvet Cake, Key Lime Pie, Coconut Crème Pie, Pecan Pie, and red, black, and white ‘70’ cupcakes. Our children, grandchildren, family, and friends (75 people in all) came to wish Dick a Happy Birthday, most decked out in Georgia gear or red and black colors (toenails too). Some NY Yankees even crashed our party…. Guests started arriving three days before by the big day we had people sleeping everywhere, air mattresses, couches, outside tents, our camper, and any bed that was available. So many people came that we had not seen in years it was great catching up with everyone. A grand celebration and a fun time for everyone!
